ELYRIA, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Invacare (NYSE: IVC) today announced that its board of directors authorized the Company to repurchase additional outstanding Company common shares, bringing its overall share repurchase authorization up to 2,500,000 common shares as of the August 17, 2011, board meeting. The authorization has no expiration date and allows the Company to repurchase its shares via open market purchases, privately negotiated transactions or otherwise.
